I really like it...

love the Floyd track. The editing is particularly impressive, the artwork and music run in a perfect parallel with brilliant lip-synching.

I also love the transition from black and white to colour with the music crescendo.

Really, quite impressed.

4 from me.

Svend-1 responds:

thank you, the color changing actually didnt come to me until i began the guitar solo... now it really is what makes the animation non-boring, so thank god =)

peace

That was class!

At first I thought I wasn't going to like it, but I got sucked into the little story. Everything fitted perfectly with the music and the lyrics. It made me laugh and I didn't think it would. Especially when I seen the bottle of "buckfast" (I'm from Airdrie) it was a nice touch and it made me giggle.

Well Done. All my 5 and keep it up jock.

treehugger75 responds:

Cheers big man!

Man, that was hilarious.

The scripted dialogue was great, really quirky and original. Love the voice acting and the soundtrack is crisp and clear. The toony art work I think is great (even if they don't have mouths).

This is the first BadGuys animation I have seen, I am going to check out the others now because I really loved this.
Thanks for the laughs.

ChrisNosal responds:

Thank you. Hope you like the others.

A very well crafted flash,

the content was quite depressing but the artwork and style were solid and unique. Great colours and strokes. The visual ideas are excellent (TVstatic, Xrays) and you really have nailed a sad feeling in the tone.

The music fits perfectly with the flash too. Did you do the artwork after hearing the music? Either way I thought this was very well done.

youme responds:

I drew the very first frame (after the preloader) before hearing the music, then i heard the music and worked out what to do for the rest of it. look out for the sequel, its on its way XD

This was quite nice really,

you are obviously a very talented artist, the drawings, the sets and the characters all looked beautiful. Sometimes it just moved far to slow, seemed really laggy sometimes but Im sure those scenes were supposed to be that slow?

Don't get me wrong though,
this is a nice movie.

crystalpencil responds:

Thanks so much. Yeah, there were 2 scenes in particular that kept bugging me with lots of lag. I used alot of tweening for the first time, Ill try to brush up on that. thanks for your input :)

Fan-friggin-tastic!

I loved the first part when I watched it a few months ago and I have to say I didn't really think you were going to continue. But you have, and not only have you continued it, you've reinvented it and fleshed it out a bit more. Excellent cliff-hanger ending, REALLY looking forward to part III.
James Horner music is a perfect choice for this, he is afterall the guy who did the soundtrack for the Alien movies.

Well done, indeed.
5 from me.

GrimEntertainment responds:

Thank you very mutch! Just hope now I won't let you down on part 3, but still I must say that Iam looking foward for youre saying on it! Thanks again and really, really glad you liked it!

Energetic but too sketchy...

And by the way that music is not by "Jet", I really like the song but it's definately not Jet. Can't remember who though, maybe The White Stripes or The Strokes.

Anyway, the animation was very rough but I can see you have the core skill to be an excellent animator. The lip syncing was good too. I think your next project might turn some heads.

Find out who sung that song though, it's really annoying me.

MaxJayJay responds:

Oh it IS by Jet. It is really their song, i've seen the video clip. and what else? they used to go to my high school

Classy Flash

This was terrific, really nice noirish tale your spinning here. The artwork is supreme, all very polished and given the feel of a graphic novel. It's all directed with skill too, lot's of neat little inserts and cuts using different techniques. I like all these things.
Just out of curiosity - do you storyboard and screenwrite your work?

I haven't seen the first part yet but I'll be sure to check it out based on the quality of this one. You got a 5 from me.
Well done, I look forward to seeing more.

subcultured2 responds:

I story board them on a notebook when I feel inspired. Sometimes I get some happy accidents that look good and I keep them. The plot will begin to unravel slowly as the characters are introduced.

Phone an ambulance!!

Well done mate, you almost killed me. This is not just another funny flash, this is a masterpiece. The style is perfect and the script is side-splittingly funny. All this from cereal huh?
I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next.
Full marks across the board from me and I'm off to buy some nesquik and a bowl of trix.

rtil responds:

Wow, glad to hear it. Really, seriously glad to hear it. I am definetely making a sequel after this kind of response.
And hey, you might want some mints after Trix and Nesquik, especially when you mix them together. It gives you some killer bad breath, like worse than coffee man. I'm serious.

Quite horrific.

I loved it. I love horror movies anyway and I'm impressed when people create horror flashes. The mood set is fanstasticly grim and a couple of the reviewers before me reckon that this is like "Se7en". I really disagree, I think what you've done here has more in common with Polanski's horror movies and films like The Omen. The sound really brings out the atmosphere in this flash too. Disorientating and hard to watch but worth watching nonetheless. Well done.

Slash-Beetlejuice responds:

Thanks-a-million!
