Come on man,

that's not even a beginning of a beginning, this movie was one second long! One second! When it started I thought hey, this might turn out to bett-- then just there it stopped. Next time at finalise your projects when you've got at least one full scene. This will get blammed.

Quite horrific.

I loved it. I love horror movies anyway and I'm impressed when people create horror flashes. The mood set is fanstasticly grim and a couple of the reviewers before me reckon that this is like "Se7en". I really disagree, I think what you've done here has more in common with Polanski's horror movies and films like The Omen. The sound really brings out the atmosphere in this flash too. Disorientating and hard to watch but worth watching nonetheless. Well done.

Thanks-a-million!

Sweet little flash.

I have to admit, I'm not really a poetry type of guy but I liked this flash. The drawing style is very good, the only part that didn't look right in this respect was the shadow strokes under the boy's hair. The weather/rain and clouds looked fantastic and set the mood really well. Well done.

Terrific little gem.

Well done, I'm quite suprised with this seeing the score is quite low. Fickle bunch these NewGrounders huh? This little movie whisks along at a terrific pace. Your technique is excellent although a bit choppy sometimes, the art work fantastic. I like the way you would transfer us from the traditional art (ie - the main guy with red dot) to the abstract (the red dot becomes a cross-hair target, etc). I also love it when the guy does that whirlwind thing, that is so cool.
I'm giving this 5/5 cos I feel it should really have a better score, and I'm coming back to vote again.

That was totally fucked.

Oh my god, at first I thought I didn't like it (probably the Gothy chants) but I had to keep watching it to the end. The graphics are absolutely fantastic, especially with the city-scapes and the main character. It all runs along incredibly smoothly. Perfect.

Your flash rocks!

Man, that's twice in a row you've got me. I still prefer "Who Goes There?" but this is class aswell.
The style is very very cool. Keep going because your definately gonna create something tremendous soon. Well done.
Your marked in my faves.

GrimEntertainment responds:

Thanks man! really glad to hear that you like my stuff! again thanks a million!

Wow!

You have a great style of animation, I really thought this was awesome. I was wondering if maybe you have been inspired by the short story (Who Goes There?) written way back in the century about a scientific outpost in the ice caps. This later got turned into a movie and a remake called The Thing, which is also awesome.
Anyway, if it is, I love it even more. But I still love it anyway.
You got 5/5 from me.

GrimEntertainment responds:

Thanks a lot! Really glad you liked it!
The title will later on have some mening in the other part, but its a small tribute to John Campbell aswell, and there is surley some insperation from hes sci-fi works.

I'm giving you all 10's because...

...I love stuff like this, it's a real shame more people don't create things like this and a bigger shame that so many moan about them when they do. Why is that? This is "NewGrounds" afterall.

The mood you set in this flash is perfect. I didn't need to understand it to enjoy it and I don't think anyone else has to either.

Full Marks!

I think this is great.

I've never heard that music before but I really like it and what you've created here fits perfect. I'm actually blown away with this.
Unique and amazing. Shine on W V !!

Cannon Fodder...

...great memories come flooding back to me when I seen this, I used to play Cannon Fodder when I was a teenager. The Amiga computer was brillliant, this game was probably my favourite at the time along with game called Syndicate. This was a cute flash.

Thanks for giving me that nostalgic feeling.
