Insane...

...really, and totally fucked in the head.

I like it. Nobody can accuse you of being unoriginal, that's a fact. Really odd script and fantastic visual quirks make this flash stand out from the crowd.

I don't know why it's funny, but it's really funny.

half a masterpiece...

...in the way those David Lynch flicks are, and like Donnie Darko before it... puzzling, strange and amazing. Creepy sound effects add to an already unnerving atmosphere.

Your artwork is terrific, the set design in this particular flash movie is really trippy but ingeniously thought out. The shadow and lighting is perfect and the animation is great.

Shame it all has to end on a cliff-hanger.

Whoopie-fuckin-do!

That was great sarge!

The last reviewer was obviously too busy trying to suck his own cock to watch it.

War is hell. But it makes great movies.

LogFish responds:

hehe cheers guy, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

freaky atmosphere...

...quite unnerving, at first I thought it was going to be about driving dangerously or something. But then we see that guy chomping on some flesh, and I was like oooohh!

I love the black & white(or cream) with the vibrant blood too.
Really good work, and an original style, well done.

Wonderful Pixel-Art...

...very well done. Everything is totally recognisable as being scenes from Empire Strikes Back. I would have liked to have seen graphics this good on 8-bit machines when I was a wee boy, because the starwars games from that era were complete pants.
It just goes to show, a little artistic flair and imagination can produce quite alot from not much at all.

Tops.

thank you misterjoe (heh funny alias)

Excellent...

...I have to say, the first few scenes didn't impress me. The part with the red eyes opening in the shadows is a little bit overdone. But this flash really picks up, when the tentahooks and the claws start grasping out for the droid it feels very dark and foreboding. I have a lot of dreams like that, with the exact same feelings.
This particular scene, when the things drag the bot, reminds me of the Evil Dead movies. Where you inspired by those at all?

As for your question about the title... I'm not really sure... but the last reviewer seemed to hit the nail on the head when he said about a Utopia being unobtainable. And it will only ever exist in the dreamworld (where in this case - they are still out of reach)

That was incredible...

...it really was. Is this a rotoscoped version of the movie's trailer?
I like the white lines on black. Gives it that etchy pulp-noir feel.
This took some patience to make and it shows.

Well done, are you going to do any more animatrix?

a really cool idea...

...and a clever use of comic panels as containers for the animated action. So well done for that. It's just a bit short really. If this maybe had say... 3 pages of story? I'd be giving you top marks. But, otherwise this is a cool little flash.

Wow. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Does it have a preloader though?

But really, actually quite impressive in terms of energy and imagination. Nice choice of music to go with the animation. I look forward to further projects from you.

That was far out! Amazing!

It was so well rendered and thought out. Kinda reminded me of the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan. The music was spot on, at first I thought it might have been from The Rock movie but you mention someone else in the closing credits so I guess I'm wrong.
The Sound effects worked brilliantly too, and great editing gives everything a great sense of action and unrgency.

This is a little mastepiece. I love it. Well done.
